Haultain ("Hal") E. Corbett
Hal’s practice has concentrated on real property law – land and minerals – for over forty years. More recently, he has represented Wyoming’s ranchers, surface owners, and mineral owners in the ongoing horizontal drilling boom in the Powder River Basin, negotiating hundreds of oil and gas leases, surface use agreements and other contracts related to mineral development on private lands. He has also helped numerous clients buy and sell ranches and assists families with inter-generational transfers of ranch properties Hal enjoys bird watching (frequently in distant places), bird dogs, bird hunting and fly fishing.
